Set out on a once-in-a-lifetime motorcycle journey from northern Thailand to the southern shores. Our 14-day “Chiang Mai to Phuket” adventure takes you from the misty mountains of the north to the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea. Along the way, you’ll discover ancient temples, hidden villages, lush national parks, and golden coastlines, experiencing the very soul of Thailand on two wheels.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Chiang Mai to Mae Sariang (190 km)

We start with a warm welcome breakfast at Route 66 Bikers Café, followed by a safety briefing and bike handover. The ride kicks off with winding routes through verdant hills, teak forests, and riverside stretches. Discover the rugged beauty of Ob Luang Gorge before cruising into the sleepy mountain town of Mae Sariang.

Day 2 – Mae Sariang to Mae Sot (234 km)

Today’s ride hugs the Myanmar border, offering sweeping views and cultural gems. Visit remote hill tribe villages, stop for street-side snacks, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of borderland roads. The ride ends in Mae Sot, a vibrant town full of history and cross cultural charm.

Day 3 – Mae Sot to Nakhon Sawan (258 km)

We head into Thailand’s agricultural basin, passing rice fields, sugarcane farms, and traditional stilt houses. Stop in Tak for a bite and a photo op, then continue to Nakhon Sawan where you’ll visit Wat Khiriwong for stunning views across the plains.

Day 4 – Nakhon Sawan to Kanchanaburi (227 km)

Roll into Kanchanaburi, a town steeped in WWII history. Highlights include a visit to the legendary Bridge on the River Kwai and the emerald pools of Erawan Falls. Along the way, we’ll stop at roadside stalls for fresh tropical fruit and local delicacies.

Day 5 – Kanchanaburi to Hua Hin (196 km)

Cruise toward the Gulf of Thailand and arrive in Hua Hin, a seaside town with royal roots. Explore hilltop temples, enjoy oceanfront dining, and sip cocktails at beach bars as the sun goes down.

Day 6 – Rest Day in Hua Hin

Spend your day unwinding by the beach or explore Hua Hin’s buzzing night markets. Visit Khao Takiab for sweeping coastal views, or indulge in a spa session and a glass of wine at a local vineyard.

Day 7 – Hua Hin to Chumphon (264 km)

Ride south along serene coastal roads with ocean views and lush greenery. Stop at Ao Manao for breathtaking seascapes before ending the day in Chumphon, a quiet town and the gateway to the southern islands.

Day 8 – Chumphon to Koh Samui (210 km)

We ride to the ferry terminal at Donsak and cross over to the tropical island of Samui. Check in to your luxury beachfront resort, explore the charming Fisherman’s Village, and enjoy the island’s vibrant yet laid back vibe.

Day 9 – Rest Day on Samui

Enjoy the best of island life, and swim in waterfall-fed pools, visit the iconic Big Buddha, or hop on a boat to discover Samui’s secret coves. Or simply lounge by the water with a drink in hand.

Day 10 – Samui to Phatthalung (210 km)

Ride back to the mainland and head into the quiet heart of southern Thailand. Explore the wetlands of Thale Noi and take in the serene beauty of Phatthalung, a peaceful town with deep spiritual roots.

Day 11 – Phatthalung to Koh Lanta (148 km)

We venture toward the Andaman coast, passing fishing villages and scenic coastal roads. Catch a ferry to the relaxed paradise of Koh Lanta and treat yourself to fresh seafood and beachfront serenity.

Day 12 – Koh Lanta to Phang Nga Bay (180 km)

Enjoy a scenic ride through southern Thailand’s most jaw-dropping landscapes. Phang Nga Bay greets you with towering limestone karsts and turquoise waters. Wind down with a sunset cruise and fine dining.

Day 13 – Phang Nga to Phuket (100 km)

The final leg of your journey leads to Phuket, Thailand’s island gem. Toast to your adventure with a sunset dinner overlooking the sea, or dive into the island’s vibrant nightlife.

Day 14 – Departure from Phuket
