Thailand Motorcycle Tours from Chiang Mai

Absolutely an experience for a life time! Great prices, great bikes selection, and mainly wonderful people! OHM was a great guide and a mentor, took me thru Chiang Mai mountains and showing me the local area, he knows a lot and he was eager to learn about me and my background; I’m so pleased with the experience overall and I’ll definitely do it again next time I go to TH. I would add though, it will be a great idea to give away customers stickers and a t-shirt after the experience.

Andy was top notch in service, communication and advice. He provided all the gear we needed and I had a great ride all over Thailand with my girl. He isn’t cheap, but other than that I’ve no complaints whatsoever. I even dumped the bike once, but since I paid for the insurance no one blinked an eye at return.

Had an awesome trip with Big Bike Touring Co. Did the 6-day tour going up to the border with Lao and Myanmar and then round to the May Hong Song loop for some incredible switchbacks all the way through the amazing Northern Thailand countryside stopped off at some amazing cafes and local Thai restaurants, eating some great Pad Kra Pao and Thai coffees. We cracked on at a good pace whilst not feeling rushed. My guide Lod was a great source of information and knowledge about the local areas and people, particularly when we went to near the Burmese border with the long neck women in the local village and many other occasions when he had lots of local knowledge that otherwise I wouldn't have understood the culture of the place as well. The accomodation was great quality with the places all being very nicely furnished, air conditioning and several of the hotels had lovely pools and were right on some amazing rivers view such as the first night where we were on the Mekong River! The boss Andy was very welcoming when I came to Thailand and at last minute needed to arrange this trip and when we met at their cafe and restaurant was very welcoming and gave me some good tips and talked me through the trip so I felt very comfortable before setting off, as it had been a year or so since I've done longer motorbike touring. So all in all amazing trip. I would definitely come back and consider going on another trip with these guys but also they've set a very high for any more motorbike touring I do with any other tour operators in future!

Wow. If all rental shop can be like that, as customers we'll not need to worry about it. The motorbike was in perfect condition. They provide all stuff that you need, and really nice stuff not just an helmet than kill you more that protect ^^ Helmet, gloves, pant, jacket, shoes, phone support with usb, tools for mechanic and electric tires inflator. It is not possible to provide more :) Jim is really kind and globally all staff. No surprise about price. Can pay 1500 bath deposit or pay 40$ insurance per day that cover around 3k dammage (it can change in future of course) So, globally, you can rent your motorbike here without any fear 💗

Perfect choice for touring. Andy is an amazing host start to finish. 10 Lana tour,amazing route, so many great roads and curves. Jen did a perfect job with coffee stops and sightseeing. Great accommodations along the way. Highly recommend BB Touring.

A totally fantastic trip! the bikes were extremely well presented, in fact mine was a brand new bike. Our guide Jen went way above what you could reasonably expect, he was brilliant. But the best bit was the roads, views, and people. 100% recommend!!

Big Bike Touring knows how to head out on the highway in classic style. Our trip was very well planned and executed. Professional equipment & management. ****Add to that our group trip early 2025 gave us stupendous views & local real time experiences daily. Photography was stellar. 🙏🙏💯 Now in our annual program.

Andy provided my girlfriend and I with a brand new BMW F 900 GS for a 4 day trip along the Mae Hong Song Loop. Top boxes and all the gear were provided free of charge. We decided go it alone and not be part of one of Andy’s tours but he still recommended great hotels, exciting routes, scenic cafes and wonderful sights to see on a daily basis. Any questions asked via WhatsApp he responded immediately. Driving the roads was like driving along a black silk ribbon and the famous curves never dull. Surprising very little traffic too. I highly recommend Andy and his team and also his wonderful restaurant.

Was an amazing experience. This will be the only motorcycle tour company I will use when I go back to Thailand.
