Home > Motorcycle Riding Standards
At Motorcycle Tours Asia, safety is our top priority and we expect all riders to follow internationally accepted motorcycle riding practices, consistent with road safety standards in the UK, Australia, the USA and Europe.
Please note: It is a legal requirement throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia to wear a helmet at all times while operating a motorcycle. No exceptions.
We have a zero tolerance policy toward unsafe or irresponsible riding. Any behaviour that endangers yourself, other participants or the public is strictly prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
These are not only legal violations, they are fundamental breaches of riding etiquette. We believe in respect for the road and for one another.
Should your riding be deemed reckless or show a lack of regard for instructions issued by your tour guide, you’ll receive an official warning. If unsafe behaviour continues, your participation will be terminated without refund.
Our mission is simple and that is to help you enjoy an epic riding experience while ensuring that everyone returns home safely, with amazing stories and no regrets.
Ride smart. Ride responsibly. Ride with respect.
